2018 Honda Ridgeline Redesign
The Honda manufacturer released its first concept of Ridgeline back in 2005. The Japanese automaker is going to feature in the auto market with its new 2018 Honda Ridgeline. Adopting an excellent pick-up truck design, the car is going to attract most car enthusiasts from all over the world. Apart from its new look, the new Ridgeline will feature redesigned features as well as enhanced powertrain performance and fuel efficiency.
2018 Honda Ridgeline Specs
The 2018 Honda Ridgeline comes with the latest pick-up truck body style. The overall body design adopts weightless material to make it more fuel efficient as well as improving its aerodynamic power. For simple off-road driving, there are two means of opening the tailgate. Both the headlights and fog lights have been fitted with the LED technology. It will run on 18-ich wheels, it among the best off-road trucks of its category.
It will be offered in an awesome medium dimension, with streamlined grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers and a spherical end. Unlike its predecessor, its roof line will be quite sleeker while the windshield will adopt a gently sloping shape.
Both the driver and the passengers will experience an elegant cabin design. There is a total of four doors and five seats capable accommodating at least 5 adult guests. The spacious cabin also features sufficient headroom and legroom for comfortable seating. There is a very big cargo space at the rear end, where you can load your luggage.
Other standard features include a premium audio system with AM/FM radio, CD player, MP3 player. There is also a great deal of safety equipment such as airbags, traction control, rear-view camera and others. The latest infotainments system features LCD display screen, GPS system among others.
2018 Honda Ridgeline Engine
The powertrain that is most likely to power the 2018 Honda Ridgeline pick-up truck is a 3.5 litre 4-Cylinder V-6 engine, which is capable of delivering up to 300 horsepower at 245lb-ft torque. Its energy consumption will probably be controlled by a modern technology known as Variable Cylinder Management System (VMS) and Honda’s stop-start technology. There are rumours that Honda will also offer a hybrid powertrain version though that has not yet been confirmed.
Though the manufacturer is still silent on its price and release date, 2018 Honda Ridgeline will feature in the market soon, anytime from now. It will cost around $38,000 as the base price.
